Yes just a few days after bringing home the baby, I had a college senior photo session. Pretty funny story actually. Beverli is cousins with my wife Erika. I guess that makes me her cousin too? Or cousin-in-law? Anyway, I initially planned to have the session down in Old Town Orange. Fatigue, exhaustion, and, OK, laziness kicked in and I made a last minute change to the location. It’s been a long time….
I’m such a bad blogger but as mentioned in previous posts, my wife and I were expecting our third child. Well that time came. For the sake of internet weirdos, his name is withheld but his stats were: born at 3:25am, 20″ long, 7lbs 6oz. Oh and on my wife’s birthday (May 25th), which was totally unexpected. This whole time we were expecting him early, at least a couple weeks, since our other two kids were two weeks early. Yeah no not the case. This one decided to stay in the oven for just a bit longer! Aurelio & Julieta 40 Year Wedding Anniversary Party- 01.31.09
As I mentioned a few blog posts ago, I was going to be taking some photos of Aurelio & Julieta. They are the parents of our good friends Joanne and Alicia. Well they asked their daughters to put the anniversary party together with a small budget and sure enough they came through. The party was held at Delight Dance Studio in Chino, CA. This place is more than a dance studio, it’s a banquet facility, AND club all tucked away on the second floor of an “architecturally unique” shopping center. The facilities are beautifully
A little retouching goes a long way…
So as I am still trying to master Lightroom 2, I discovered the power of the adjustment brush. In there was a preset for skin softening. Normally, I would have to go into Photoshop to do any skin smoothing but this time I decided to give it a try.
