As promised in my last post, here are just a few photos of the combo family photo session at English Springs Park in Chino Hills, CA. Almost EVERY wedding/quinceanera photographer in this area shoots here and I was amazed to find the park empty when we got there. If anything it got crowded later on with families spending some time at the park and feeding the ducks in front of the “Please don’t feed the animals” sign! We had originally planned to have our session at Carbon Canyon Park in Brea but the recent fires decided for us not to.
The Young family

The Banker family

Of course my own family
FYI – My wife is 3 months pregnant! Woo Hoo!

Note: I had one of the guys take our shots, I just realized afterwards that I had my remote and could’ve setup my camera on the tripod and trip the trigger myself!! The remote was a lifesaver on the group shots though!
We decided to take one massive group shot. Try getting six kids to smile nicely at the same time with no one to look at behind the camera! By this time of the day, they were done taking pictures.

Probably the best candid shot of the day. What are the chances that EVERYONE made a silly face at the same time!

As I mentioned earlier the remote trigger I bought saved me from breaking a sweat running back and forth to the camera and from making the kids get even more unruly than they already were. It’s my new favorite toy!
It was a great (tiring) session and I am quite pleased on the outcome of the photos. Special thanks to the Bankers for bringing snacks and drinks for the kids. I need to make a mental note for my next session with lots of kids!
As always, stay tuned. More sessions to come!
Happy Thanksgiving again and a safe Black Friday to those insane enough to deal with the crowds! (This includes my wife, but I love her dearly for that because she finishes our Christmas shopping that same day!)
God bless.
