Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas. We often forget (myself included) and are caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping for gifts, fighting over parking, and dealing with a being that rude person who cuts in front of you or doesn’t bother to hold the door as your on your way out OR those who don’t say “Thank you” as you express a friendly and helpful gesture towards them. Never mind their problems, we don’t know what their situation is. Christmas has become such a commercial affair that even the “Christ” in Christmas is drowned out by the glitz and flashing lights.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6

As I always “preach”, we really have nothing to whine, complain, be angry about and not just during this season but all the time compared to what the Lord has done for us. Die for our sins.

Sorry if this takes offense to anyone, but this is the origin of what Christmas is all about.  Have  a safe and memorable Merry Christmas.
