It’s been a long time….

I’m such a bad blogger but as mentioned in previous posts, my wife and I were expecting our third child. Well that time came. For the sake of internet weirdos, his name is withheld but his stats were: born at 3:25am, 20″ long, 7lbs 6oz. Oh and on my wife’s birthday (May 25th), which was totally unexpected. This whole time we were expecting him early, at least a couple weeks, since our other two kids were two weeks early. Yeah no not the case. This one decided to stay in the oven for just a bit longer! Needless to say, he’s here, happy healthy, peeing and pooping up a storm. I love it! Prepare for the inundation of photos! j/k But here are some photos from his first day. I’m not a major fan of newborn photos and frankly most if not all babies are not at their best until about a month. I want to take proper photos of him now, but I feel his pain… Gotta let the boy sleep! Major props to you child photographers!! Newborns are tough! Anyways, these pictures will do for now. Don’t worry, the camera is always at the ready! As usual, comments, concerns, questions welcomed!

As I make my return, I have a ton of photos to blog/post about. At this point, there’s so many, I’m just editing them as they come in any random order. My OCD organizing self is a little freaked about it but I know I can get through it. I have a couple weddings to post, a college senior session and a few other sessions. Everything else forward will be on time and not pushed to the end of the line. I still have some portrait session dates open, and for now available for any second shooter wedding opportunities. I started a new blog for photographers. It’s aimed towards all things computer related and photography. My goal for that is to provide tips and information on maintaining your computer and maximizing your workflow. I’ve also teamed up with a couple of peers from the IT industry to soon provide IT services specific to photographers. I was fortunate enough to win the Premium slideshow plugin via Lawrence (@tofurious) at Tofurious.com. I would easily pay the $10 for this plugin. Customizable, very clean looking and ridiculously easy to use! Check ‘em out! They even have a photo booth application which I was able to see a preview of at WPPI and it’s pretty slick!

EDIT: I just looked at when I did my last post… April 10th. Oops my bad! Consider that my online paternity leave. Yeah that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
