A few weekends ago, I participated on a group photo shoot with about 30 other photographers, amateur and pro, at the Brea Dam in Fullerton. See my previous post for more photos. This event was put on by fellow photographers Hanssie Trainor and Matt Saville. Well they decided to have a contest just for fun and this is my entry:

It would be totally awesome if you could vote for me!!! Go to this post on Hanssie’s website and click on the vote link at the top or bottom of the post and vote for my entry #9 under Albert Bertulfo. She spelled my name wrong on the survey, and yes, I told her about it, but unfortunately she can’t change it. Voting ends this Easter Sunday at 11:59pm so tell all of your friends to vote too! Don’t forget to leave me a comment to let me know you voted! With that, thanks for your vote and I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend. Thank you Jesus for giving me life and dying for my sins.
In other news, if you’re a photographer or aspiring to become a photographer, you need to know this guy, Dane Sanders. He’s the author of Fast Track Photographer and an awesome photographer! His book has been extremely helpful in the development and direction of my journey becoming a professional photographer. While I’m still slowly working through the steps, I have already seen myself become a better photographer. I’m not going to go into too much detail, but check out the Fast Track Photographer site and his own site as well. Dane also holds a weekly podcast called AskDane.com which holds some valuable tips and answers from questions posted by other photographers. I’ve embedded his podcast feed here but definitely check out his sites as well.
